CHUSS Conversations 9th & 10th Dec, 2021

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHUSS) invites you for the conversations to be held on Thursday 9th December and Friday 10th December 2021 starting at 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM, at the CEDAT Conference Hall, Makerere University.

The conversation to be held on the theme, “Living the Humanities and Humanistic Social Sciences in the 21st century”. aims at bringing both practitioners and scholars  in the humanities to dialogue on the impact of the Humanities and Humanistic  Social Sciences on contemporary issues of governance, insecurity and life- threatening epidemics and pandemics.

The conversations will focus on two sub-themes:
1) Humanities and Governance.
2) Humanities in the New Decade: Withering the tide of Insecurities and Pandemics

The conversations will be blended and held under strict adherence to the standard operating procedures governing public events, specified by the Ministry of Health.
