Dr Simon Nantamu is a lecturer with the Makerere University School of Psychology, holding a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Organisational Psychology. His research interests include organisational theory, refugee entrepreneurship and psychological capital, with published work on refugee entrepreneurial efficacy and the role of social capital and mindfulness in the well-being of refugees in Uganda. His contributions span applied psychology in low-income settings, exploring how leadership models (such as servant leadership) translate in sub-Saharan Africa and how psychological resources aid entrepreneurship among displaced populations.
