Dr. Ronald Luwangula lectures at Makerere University, Department of Social Work and Social Administration since 2007. He holds a PhD in Social Protection Rights from Alpen Adria University Klagenfurt, Austria (2012-2015); Master in Social Work and Human Rights from University of Gothenburg, Sweden (2009-2011); and a Bachelors of Social Work and Social Administration from Makerere University, Uganda (2003-2006). His research areas are: Child Protection, Livelihood and Resilience, Disability, Gender and Social Inclusion. He has over the years worked on research and intervention projects focusing on child protection and safeguarding, refugee protection, social protection, resilience, transformative gender approaches, disability, and sexual and reproductive health and rights.
