Being both a custodian and a student at the same time means balancing professional responsibility with academic commitment. A custodian is responsible for safeguarding and managing the university’s facilities and ensuring that services run smoothly. This role requires constant availability to respond to emergencies such as power outages, water shortages, and providing essential services like issuing public address equipment for university activities. Because of these responsibilities, a custodian must be dependable, responsive, and ready to act whenever a need arises.
At the same time, being a student requires dedication to academic work, including attending classes, studying, completing assignments, and preparing for examinations. Juggling these two roles therefore demands strong time management, discipline, and personal sacrifice. One must remain committed to both duties without using academic work as an excuse to neglect custodial responsibilities.
To manage the two effectively, it required patience, resilience, and proper planning of time. For instance, after a long day of work, setting aside about one and a half hours for study each day helped to maintain academic progress. In addition, I used weekends and public holidays to catch up on reading and coursework, especially because much time during the week was spent responding to custodial duties and emergencies.
In essence, being both a custodian and a student meant embracing hard work and responsibility in two important areas of life. Successfully juggling the two required commitment, discipline, patience, and the determination to keep moving forward despite the demanding nature of both roles.
Who is Sunday away from office?

Away from office, Sunday is a humble, responsible, and family oriented person who values personal growth and service to others. While work requires me to be constantly available to manage university facilities and respond to emergencies, outside the office I focus on developing myself academically and personally. As a student, I dedicated time to reading, researching, and improving my knowledge so that I can grow professionally in the future.
Beyond academics, I also value spending time with family, reflecting, and planning for the future. I believe in discipline, patience, and continuous learning, which guide both my work and personal life. Away from the office environment, I am simply a person striving to balance work, education, and personal development while maintaining integrity and a positive attitude toward life.
In short, Sunday away from the office is a learner, a family person, and an individual committed to personal growth and community service.
