The BDSK program aims to achieve the following objectives:
Train military officers who will be familiar with pressing operational and tactical issues in Uganda, East Africa and beyond.
Improve the skills, competencies and capacity of the military officers engaged in military operations, Logistics and administrative affairs.
Train military officers who will be familiar with a broader view of other disciplines of political, socio-economic and environment knowledge to strengthen their understanding of the society.
Equip the learners with essential tools and techniques of research to analyze any given situation and suggest possible solutions.
Empower the graduates with a capacity to link military and defense theory/concepts and practice.
