Biography

Dr. Dickson Kanakulya is a Ugandan academic and philosopher who serves as Head of the Department of Philosophy at Makerere University’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHUSS). Holding a PhD from Makerere and advanced degrees including an MA Phil from Bergen and a Licentiate from Linköping, his scholarly work spans bioethics, governance philosophy, sustainability, social justice, peace philosophy, and futures research.
