Biography

Dr. Eve Nabulya is a Lecturer in the Department of Literature at Makerere University, Uganda and Ag. Head of Department. She earned her PhD in English from Stellenbosch University in 2017, where she researched environmental activism in East African literature . Her scholarship centers on the intersection of African literature, ecology, oral narratives, peacebuilding, and literary theory. Through prestigious programs—including the African Peacebuilding Network (APN), Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and the African Humanities Program—she has explored how oral storytelling and literary expression contribute to environmental awareness and communal development across East Africa.
