This competition encourages talent from students in the University at all levels, and offers an opportunity for you to tell your story and to exhibit your creative ability for the world stage.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open to students presently studying at\u00a0Makerere University.<\/li>\n<li>Entries must be original works not previously published or submitted elsewhere.<\/li>\n<li>Limit of one entry per person.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The story should include at the end the following sentence:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cEntry for the\u00a0Makerere University-Yours2Read short story competition, commencing April 22, 2026, concluding June 15 2026\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Failure to include this sentence will result in the entry being accepted as a general submission and not for the competition.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Submit an Entry<\/h2>\n<p>Submissions should be made via the Yours2read website.
