History of Matrimonial Debates: A Case of the Marriage Debates, by Jackline Kirungi (MISR). Jackline's study focuses on narratives of marriage as discourse as opposed to marriage as an institution

Second presentation

Traditional Institutions of Governance by Esibo (MISR) in which he investigates what is traditional about traditional institutions. Particularly he historicises the naming of the traditional institutions, their evolution and how the labeling and naming of the traditional institution (of the Emorimor) affects their role in governance.

Third presentation

Poverty and Shame by Ammon Mwine (SWGS). Here Amon examines the role of the media in shaping narratives of poverty and shame.
