The School of Psychology will hold a Psychology Week from 31st March to 3rd April, 2015 at Makerere University.
Theme: “Self in a Social Context”
*Planned activities
Day 1: Conference featuring various presentations on the role of psychology in community development to be held in the University Main Hall
Day 2: Outreach activities with stakeholders including TASO Uganda, Hope After Rape and the Department of Early Childhood Development in the Ministry of Education, Sports, Science and Technology. The activities will include free HIV counselling and testing services and a blood donation drive conducted by Uganda Red Cross Society in conjunction with Nakasero Blood Bank
Day 3: Sports competition amongst staff, current students and the alumni of the School
Day 4: Alumni dialogue and dinner
