The Dean, School of Languages, Literature and Communication (SLLC) cordially invites you to the school’s Centennial Celebrations on 9thDecember 2022 at the Yusuf Lule Auditorium, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The school will be celebrating its achievements as as part of the activities
to commemorate Makerere's 100 years of existence.
The activities include two panel discussions and cultural gala.
Panel 1: Trends and Perspectives of Language Teaching at Makerere University.
Panel 2: Reflections on the Historical 1962 Literary Conference at Makerere University.
The day will also be marked by and a cultural gala in the afternoon with performances (songs, dance and Poetry Recitations) in Kiswahili, Spanish, German, French, English, Chinese, Runyakitara, Luo, Madi, Luganda etc.
