The East African Social Science Translation (EASST) Collaborative, a multi-university partnership with a mission to improve basic education, health, agricultural, financial and information services in the East African countries has finally been funded to a tune of $300,000 to be spent in 2012. To achieve its goals, EASST will support targeted research and training activities.
