The Directorate of Research and Graduate Training with support from Carnegie Corporation of New York Next Generation of African Academics project has organized a workshop on Scholarly Writing and Communication Skills scheduled for 27th to 30th October, 2014 at Makerere University. This skills enhancement training workshop is intended to promote quality publications and effective dissemination of research outputs in an effort towards strengthening research capacity of the academic staff including building a strong research and publication culture in the University. This is one of the core courses for PhD students and are encouraged to apply.
Who should apply: Academic staff especially PhD students (since this is one of the
core cross-cutting courses) registered at Makerere University. Admission will be on
a first come basis
