The Department of Performing Arts and Film invites you all and your loved ones to come watch our  2013/2014 3rd year students' plays production practical scheduled to take place on two weekends of 11-13/04/2014 and 17-18/04/2014 at the Makerere University Main Hall, starting at 2:00-6:00PM on each day. Entrance is free.

If you cannot make it, please facilitate the youngsters in your household to come and enjoy themselves. Allow us to make a difference their lives this Easter Holiday.

The students of Bachelor of Arts in Ethics and Human Rights, School of Liberal and Performing Arts, College of Humanities and Social Sciences shall formally launch their newly created association, the Makerere University Ethics and Human Rights Association (MUEHRA) on Friday, the 28th March, 2014, in the Main Hall of Makerere University starting at 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. The major objective of this association is to contribute to the promotion and protection of human rights, ethical culture and integrity as well as tolerance and social justice in our society. His Excellency, the United States of America Ambassador in Uganda Scott Delisi will officiate as the Guest of Honour.

The launch will take place alongside the First annual Makerere University Human Rights Expo scheduled for 28th to 29th March 2014 at the former Faculty of Arts.

The project enhanced out-reach, and funded 8 PhD students from Makerere University, most of who have completed and will be sharing with us their projects, The project also supported the design of masters  in Development Studies, which awaits approval  by the College Board.

Development Studies will be most grateful for your presence at the conference which is scheduled on , 19th February, 2014 in the Gender and Women Studies Conference Hall starting at 9,00 am.
