UNICEF to train CHUSS students on U-Report

U-report, a new communications technology platform launched by UNICEF's Uganda office in 2011, is targeted at adolescents and young people. It is a free SMS-based system that allows young Ugandans to speak out on what's happening in communities across the country, and work together with other community leaders for positive change.

What is it? User Education is a process of activities involved in making the users of the library conscious about tremendous value of information in day to day life, to develop interest among the users to seek information as and when required.

Why should you attend? New library users are introduced to library facilities and services to enable them to identify, locate and use the various information resources with ease. They are also given a guided tour of the library. As an introductory session, library users are expected to come back for hands on experience and explore more.
